Recircuit Collective

Our Mission

We want to reduce electronic waste while making engineering education more accessible to the youth of New York City. We believe the two problems solve each other: the devices our city discards every day are full of motors, sensors, batteries and boards that a young person can learn real engineering from, and the fastest way to keep that material out of a landfill is to put it back into someone's hands. Every donation is sorted, tested and either rebuilt into workshop hardware or routed to a certified downstream recycler, so nothing usable is destroyed and nothing hazardous is dumped.
